Alicia Keys, What a Women!!

After perform on annual 50 years Grammy Awards in Los Angeles, AS, last 10 February, Alicia Keys is told by Los Angeles Times that she’s now been spot in primadona pop position for sure, that previously been places by Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey.

Good Quality of vocal solid by personality that neat and charisma when perform on stage is the characteristic of primadona. In Jakarta, She’s deserved to be on that position. Stage performance on Plenarry Hall, Jakarta Convention Center, Jakarta, Thursday (31/7), have sufficient time to be world news that all promotion in cigarette merk has been take off. For the records, all advance countrys already make prohibition on cigarette product to be a sponsor in sport or entertainment shows. So that night, in the end there’s nothing cigarette sponsor on Alicia Keys concert because is being afraid that it will be promoted to kids under age (fans Alicia, majority is teenagers).

Back to concert, it’s being afraid that this event will disturb path concert. Especially when 90 minutes from the schedule which is 20.00 WIB, a singer from Manhattan, New York, 25 January 1981 is not been shown up to the stage. Then on 21.30 WIB all the band shown up and make all the audience (3000 audiences) cheering again. And becoming more cannonading, when intro the opening song, “Go Ahead”, played and voice of Alicia is being heard. And boom, suddenly she’s (Winner of 11 Grammy Awards and 17 Billboard Music Awards) been shown up to the stage.

Alicia perform is very simple at that night, different with commonly R&B or Soul artists from AS, that usually will wear their “Blink-Blink”. Alicia brings a lot of group, include 36 peoples, 7 musicians, and 3 back vocal. But still not like the other R&B artists. She’s looks so natural, wearing black long pants with “u can see” red swell blouse. Her black hair just being tassel and she’s not changing any clothes for over than 2 hours on the show.

With that entire simple atmosphere, exactly perform the real Alicia. Her character really calm and friendly when say hello to the audience with compensation total of technique and vocal manner. What can I say more, I guess that no one will doubt her ability to be a DIVA. Virtuositas and totalitas a singer as a musician now is rare to be found on local singer. Don’t even able to play some music, vocal technique never been expand, once being a DIVA.

So I think, watching her (Alicia Keys) is watching a Quality. Fantastic Concert, Two Thumbs Up. ^^
