Yes, you right, On The Origin of Species, Darwin caused a controversy on his opinion that all living creature that exist now is from the generation before who lived in the past. An Evolution happens through a process nature selection. So, there’s nothing about it that suddenly shown up.

This opinion are contradiction with creationism opinion that been attentive by the church that time. Later, many people are on sides Darwin use this Dawinism for attack a church on England, that Church of England. Unavoidable, a serious debate happens between church side and some people that support Darwin.

And now this story can inspired us that we must be orientation on the future rather than the past. The Church made a correction mistake that they may have done in the past about Darwin bravely.

Because of that, business landscape analyst should be done with Threat – Opportunity – Weakness – Strength (TOWS) approach, not SWOT.

If we start the identification on strength and weakness first, that being an internal factor, then the orientation is becoming bias. With refer to Strenght – Weakness, meaning that we point to present or infact in past.

Power on this time and reputation on the past is not sure that been relevan for the future, and so the weakness this time. For example that if we can’t speak English, it’s not sure that this is will be our weakness on the future that probably Mandarin will be needed more because the source of power will go to Asia.

Threat and opportunity too is can’t be a projection from now or past because can be a diskontinuitas.
So, on this New Wave Landscape, “Survival of the fittest” Darwin’s opinion is still prevailing. Not the smart or the powerfull that will survive. But, the most that can adaptation with the changing who gonna win.
