For a several people having a lot of blog is appropriate, with a reason probably one of the blog server can be down or just lost. And for that, Bloggers usually make a back-up on their blog so that can be access by all the people at that server or in the different website address.
How important that this is should be done by a Blogger? Absolutely important, our loyal reader in many places want every post that we wrote can be readed without any incident like that. There's some reason for us to do a back up or transfer our post to another different address.
Then, how the way for us to transfer our blog easily from Old Blog to a new one. For Wordpress user, and this is the tips:
1. Enter to your Blog Wordpress admin page that you'll be moving your post, usually admin page is on folder /wp-admin.
2. After Log in page appear, log in with your username and password.
3. You'll be drift to your Wordpress Blog Dashboard
4. Choose Manage Menu -> Export. For Wordpress V.2.6 above after drift to export page then click Download Export File. You'll be asking to save it on your computer, save it with not changing any file name. File format is XML.
5. First step is done, now you go to your new Wordpress Blog admin page.
6. Do it exactly on the same thing. on step 1-3 above.
7. Choose Manage menu -> Import -> Choose Wordpress to aplicative web that we'll import, because now we're doing a blog transfer from wordpress to wordpress.
8. You will be drift to Import Wordpress page. Browse file that you have save on step one ( XML File that we have save before ). And click upload file and import.
9. Done, You have completely successful to transfer a post from old blog to a new one.
